March 12, 2025 — Two hundred milling industry leaders and guests gathered in Arizona for the North American Millers’ Association’s 2025 Spring Conference, held March 8-11, 2025.
“NAMA’s Spring Conference unites the entire milling value chain like no other event,” said NAMA President Jane DeMarchi. “This year’s event highlighted how the milling sector will navigate changes in the marketplace and D.C. in 2025 and beyond.”

Presentations during daily educational sessions focused on critical topics facing the agriculture and food industry today. These topics included the potential impact of tariffs on wheat, corn, and oat grain markets, the current economic outlook, and evolving consumer trends. The annual Soft Wheat Crop Report took place on Tuesday morning. The panel of industry experts projected U.S. 2025 soft red winter wheat production at 354.107 million bushels, up 3% from 2024. They also forecasted a soft white winter wheat crop at 216.314 million bushels, a 0.4% increase from 2024. Complete details on this year’s predictions are available here.
