Our Priorities

Farm Policy

The farm bill and farm programs were established to support U.S. producers who are the foundation of the most abundant, high quality food supply in the world. In collaboration with supply chain partners, NAMA engages congressional leaders to support policies that champion the grain industry and ensure a strong food supply.

Farm Bill Reauthorization

NAMA developed policy priorities for the next farm bill that focus on international food aid, grains research, and conservation. These priorities were developed by member leaders serving on NAMA’s foreign market development committee and sustainability working group. Click here for details.

Grown In America Act

NAMA participates in the the Ag Investment for America coalition in support of the Grown In America Act, which would establish a tax credit to qualifying businesses for purchasing agricultural commodities sourced from American growers and used in food and beverage production or manufacturing processes in the United States.
