NAMA applauds the introduction of the bipartisan American Farmers Feed the World Act of 2023.

North American Millers’ Association (NAMA) members advocated for the milling industry’s farm bill priorities on Capitol Hill during the organization’s Washington Policy Conference, which ended today in Washington, D.C.

Registration is now open for the Corn Dry Milling Conference (CDMC) to be held in Peoria, Illinois on June 21-22, 2023.

“Spring Conference brings the milling industry together like no other event,” NAMA President Jane DeMarchi said. “After three days of business meetings, learning from expert speakers, and reconnecting with industry partners, NAMA and its members are energized for the year ahead.”

NAMA announced its policy priorities for the next farm bill, with a focus on international food aid, grains research, and conservation. These priorities were developed by member leaders serving on NAMA’s foreign market development committee and sustainability working group.
