DESCRIPTION:The NAMA Fly-In brings NAMA members to Washington\, D.C. to meet with members of Congress and officials from the White House and key federal agencies to discuss important policy issues impacting the milling industry. Some of the key legislative and regulatory issues addressed include FDA and USDA regulations\, agricultural research funding\, nutrition guidelines and programs\, labeling\, supply chain issues\, and more. \n\n\n\nThis is a farm bill year\, which means advocating for NAMA’s priorities in research\, conservation\, and food aid is our number one goal. In order to maximize lobbying time\, a briefing will be held via Zoom ahead of time and recorded to prepare you for your meetings. \n\n\n\nA block of rooms is being held at the Crystal City Marriott at Reagan National Airport. The deadline to secure the NAMA rate for attendees is March 30\, 2024.
